The Assistant

Jane (Julia Garner) is a junior assistant at a film production company, and she is the first one in the office every morning. Her day is the small routine of the job: the phones, the schedules, the cleanup after her boss. Kitty Green keeps the story in one day, and Jane's quiet, strained exchanges with Wilcock (Matthew Macfadyen) show how little room she has to speak.
