The Astronaut Farmer

Charles Farmer (Billy Bob Thornton) gave up the Air Force to save his late father's Texas ranch, and he has wanted to go to space ever since. He has built a rocket in his barn and tried to buy the fuel, which gets the FBI watching him and the FAA stalling his flight plan. Michael Polish keeps the story on the family around him, especially his wife (Virginia Madsen), who has to decide how far she'll stand behind him.
