The Atticus Institute

“The only case of possession confirmed by the U.S. Government.”

Dr. Henry West (William Mapother) wants proof that the supernatural can be measured, so in the early 1970s he builds an institute to find people who have abilities. Judith Winstead (Rya Kihlstedt) arrives as one more subject, and her results are strong enough that the military takes an interest in using her as a weapon. Chris Sparling frames it as a documentary, and the old footage of Judith in her bare testing room has the flat, grainy look of a government film.
