The Auschwitz Report

“They escaped hell... and now they must prove it”

Two young Slovak Jews, deported to Auschwitz in 1942, have spent two years inside it and carry one idea: that what they have seen could save lives if someone outside would believe it. On 10 April 1944, after careful planning, Freddy (Noël Czuczor) and Walter escape, while the prisoners they leave behind stand their ground against the Nazi officers. Peter Bebjak keeps the camera close on their faces and lets the quiet between them carry the weight.
