John Steed (Ralph Fiennes) is a British Ministry agent who takes his orders from a man called Mother (Jim Broadbent). His latest case points to Dr. Emma Peel (Uma Thurman), the only suspect in a plot to control the weather. Jeremiah Chechik sends the two against Sir August de Wynter (Sean Connery), a scientist whose machine could let him rule the world.
