The Awakening

“Sometimes dead does not mean gone.”

Florence Cathcart (Rebecca Hall) writes books that expose fake mediums, and in 1921 England she is good at it. A teacher at a remote boys' boarding school, Robert Mallory (Dominic West), asks her to look into a ghost the students have reported and the death of one of the boys. Nick Murphy leaves her alone with the school's empty corridors, her equipment set up in the dark.
