The Baader Meinhof Complex

West Germany, 1967: police put down a protest against the shah of Iran with open violence, and the journalist Ulrike Meinhof (Martina Gedeck) walks away from her marriage and her children to join Andreas Baader (Moritz Bleibtreu). Together with his girlfriend Gudrun Ensslin (Johanna Wokalek), they form the Red Faction Army. Uli Edel keeps the three of them at the center, and what holds them together is as unstable as what they set out to break.
