“Friends Forever”

One summer in Stoneybrook, Connecticut, seven junior-high girls turn a backyard idea into a daycare camp for the neighborhood's children. Melanie Mayron follows the whole group, with Kristy (Schuyler Fisk), Stacey (Bre Blair), Mary Anne (Rachael Leigh Cook), Dawn (Larisa Oleynik) and Claudia (Tricia Joe) each getting a share of the screen. Running the camp is the easy part, because Kristy is also learning how to grow up.
