The Balconettes

“Marseille, 46 degrees, 3 flatmates, 1 mysterious neighbor.”

Three young women, Ruby (Souheila Yacoub), Nicole (Sanda Codreanu), and Élise (Noémie Merlant), spend a summer together on their balconies during a brutal heatwave in southern France. Strange occurrences escalate as the heat intensifies and their routines dissolve into uncertainty. Merlant navigates the friendship between them as the ordinary world fractures, and what began as an ordinary summer could destroy everything they have.
