The Band of Honest Men

In a poor Roman neighbourhood, three men scrape by on whatever small money comes their way. One of them, Lo Turco (Peppino De Filippo), works as a typographer, and that gives them an idea. Camillo Mastrocinque follows Antonio Buonocore (Totò) and his partners as they print the notes and then try to spend them, and the black-and-white frame fills with cramped courtyards, family quarrels and neighbours leaning out of windows.
