The Banishing

“Some houses were never meant to be a home”

Marianne (Jessica Brown Findlay) wants a settled life for her family, and the 1930s rectory her husband Linus (John Heffernan), a young reverend, has taken them to promises one. Christopher Smith keeps the house in the weeks before the war, its hallways and rooms holding a horrifying secret that was there long before the family arrived. If that secret in those walls is not faced, they stand to lose everything they came there to build.
