The Bare Necessity

In a French family's close-knit corner of the world, life runs on its own odd rules, and Pierre Perdrix (Swann Arlaud) has settled into them with a restless kind of comfort. Then Juliette Webb (Maud Wyler) lands among the Perdrix household, a stranger who arrives like a meteorite, and Erwan Le Duc lets his mother (Fanny Ardant) and siblings take her in with a straight face. Pierre, who had been enjoying an enchanted existence, finds his bearings shifting under him.
