The Basilisks

In a small, poor village in Apulia, Francesco (Stefano Satta Flores), Sergio, and Antonio (Antonio Petruzzi) have no jobs and nothing to do but walk the streets and chase girls. When Antonio's aunt invites him to stay with her family in Rome, he goes and enrolls at a university, while the other two stay behind and envy him. Lina Wertmüller made her directorial debut here, shooting in the real towns of Minervino Murge and Spinazzola.
