The Batman

“Unmask the truth.”

Batman, two years into his war on Gotham's crime, hunts the Riddler (Paul Dano), a serial killer leaving coded messages at murder scenes of the city's powerful. The investigation pulls him toward Lt. Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) and Selina Kyle (Zoë Kravitz), a burglar with her own reasons to chase the same killer. Reeves shoots the city in rain and shadow, each frame a geometry of concrete and glass, until Batman stands alone.
