The Battery

“In a land ravaged by the undead, Ben and Mickey must learn to survive... each other.”

A voice comes through the walkie-talkies in rural Connecticut, where a plague has left the roads empty and nobody else is supposed to be listening. Ben (Jeremy Gardner), who is practical and hard, and Mickey (Adam Cronheim), who is gentler and wants to answer, are former baseball players who travel on foot. In his debut as director, Jeremy Gardner leaves the two of them with their old catcher-and-pitcher habits and no agreement about whether to trust the voice.
