The Bear

“He's an orphan... at the start of a journey. A journey to survive.”

A bear cub is left alone in the wilds of British Columbia, with no mother and no way of knowing what to do next. Jean-Jacques Annaud follows Youk (Douce) as he attaches himself to a huge adult Kodiak (Bart the Bear), while two trophy hunters, led by Tom (Tchéky Karyo), track them both. The big male wants to be left alone, and the cub will not leave his side.
