The Bears' Famous Invasion of Sicily

A cub named Tonio, the son of the bear king Leonzio (Toni Servillo), vanishes in the Sicilian mountains, taken by hunters. The winter is so hard that the bears face famine, so Leonzio gathers an army and a wizard's help and marches down into the land of men to find him. Lorenzo Mattotti, adapting Dino Buzzati's 1945 children's book, paints it in flat, bright storybook colors.
