The Beast and the Magic Sword

Count Waldemar Daninsky (Paul Naschy) carries a curse that a witch laid on his bloodline, and it turns him into a werewolf. He travels to Japan looking for a cure, taking a medieval Spanish name and an old family grief with him. Naschy, who wrote, directed and starred, sets the tenth Daninsky film in the Middle Ages because he never wanted the saga tied to the present day.
