“He Was On The Verge Of Becoming A Man... Eater!”

Michael MacCleary (Paul Clemens) begins to change in a small Mississippi town after his seventeenth birthday, and no one can say what is happening to his body. His parents Eli (Ronny Cox) and Caroline (Bibi Besch) watch him change, while Sheriff Pool (L.Q. Jones) and Doc Schoonmaker (R.G. Armstrong) say little about what they know. Philippe Mora keeps the question underneath it all plain: what a parent owes a child whose father they never knew.
