Junie (Léa Seydoux) arrives at a new Paris high school after her mother's death, silent and in her own head, and every boy in the building notices her anyway. She starts seeing the gentle Otto (Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet) while finding herself drawn to Nemours (Louis Garrel), her young Italian teacher. Christophe Honoré lifts the story from a 1678 novel, La Princesse de Clèves, and sets it in a modern classroom.
