Adam Clay (Jason Statham), a retired government operative in rural Maryland, watches his landlady lose everything to an online scam. He emerges from retirement to hunt down the operation behind it, a sprawling fraud network run by the ruthless Wallace Westwyld (Jeremy Irons). As Clay works through the organization's layers, he realizes the cost of crossing a man with nothing left to lose.
