The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

“Share the journey. Share the laughter.”

Evelyn Greenslade (Judi Dench), newly widowed and short of money, wants somewhere to start over, and a brochure promises a restored hotel in India. She joins a handful of other British retirees, among them Douglas Ainslie (Bill Nighy) and Muriel Donnelly (Maggie Smith), only to find that Sonny Kapoor (Dev Patel) runs the place on enthusiasm and little else. John Madden follows Evelyn as she tries to find her footing in a country she never planned to live in.
