The Best of All Worlds

Adrian (Jeremy Miliker) is seven and has no idea his life is anything other than ordinary, though it unfolds in Salzburg's drug scene, far from the city's postcard of music and culture. His mother Helga (Verena Altenberger) loves him fiercely and uses heroin, and the film keeps both of those true at once. Adrian Goiginger writes and directs, and what he sets down is the bond between a boy and the mother who is all he has.
