The Best Way to Walk
Marc (Patrick Dewaere) is a counselor at a summer camp in the French countryside in 1960, a restless young man who needs people around him to look down on. One night he walks in on his fellow counselor Philippe (Patrick Bouchitey) dressed and made up as a woman, and from then on he won't leave it alone. In his first feature, Claude Miller keeps the two men circling each other, and each cruelty from Marc seems to bind Philippe to him more tightly.
