The Beyond

“Beyond death...Beyond Evil...Beyond the dreaded gates of hell.”

Liza Merril (Catriona MacColl) leaves New York for rural Louisiana after inheriting an old hotel, and she sinks her savings into reopening it. She does not know that a painter was murdered inside its walls decades ago, or that the building sits over a gateway to Hell. Lucio Fulci follows her and Dr. John McCabe (David Warbeck) through the rooms, where the cellar holds the painter's body and the corridors are about to give way to the gateway itself.
