The Big Bus

“At last — the first disaster movie where everybody dies (laughing).”

The nuclear-powered bus Cyclops pulls out of New York on its first non-stop run to Denver, and the oil lobby wants it stopped before it gets there. Behind the wheel is Dan Torrance (Joseph Bologna), a down-on-his-luck driver with a reputation for eating his passengers. James Frawley sends the bus down the road as a disaster picture with every ordinary part left in, and Dan shares the cab with Kitty Baxter (Stockard Channing), who has her own history with him.
