The Big Family

Carlos Alonso (Alberto Closas) and his wife Mercedes Cebrián (Amparo Soler Leal) want what any parents want, a household that holds together, only they are raising fifteen children of different ages. Fernando Palacios directs this 1962 Spanish comedy with José Isbert as the grandfather and José Luis López Vázquez as the godfather. Around the couple, the film lets one big family crowd every room, and the two of them stay at the center of it.
