The Big Hit
Étienne Carboni (Kad Merad) is an actor who is often out of work, and he wants a stage that holds still long enough for him to thrive. He finds one in a prison theater workshop, where he gathers a mismatched troupe of inmates, including Jordan (Pierre Lottin), to put on Beckett's Waiting for Godot. Emmanuel Courcol, loosely drawing on Jan Jönson's real prison productions, treats a play about waiting as a play men locked up already understand.
