Gerald Clamson (Jerry Lewis) is a fisherman who wants nothing more than a quiet day on the water, until he turns out to be the spitting image of a diamond-smuggling gangster. Mistaken for the crook at a resort hotel, he gets tangled up with Thor (Harold J. Stone) and his gang, and with Suzie Cartwright (Susan Bay Nimoy). Jerry Lewis directs and co-wrote it, and what runs underneath all the chasing is a plain man being forced to answer for somebody else's life.
