The Big Night

“Love! Hate! Murder!”

George La Main (John Drew Barrymore) is a teenager whose father, Andy (Preston Foster), has just been beaten by a man named Al Judge (Howard St. John). George goes out into downtown Los Angeles after dark, looking for Judge and for a way to settle it himself. Along the route he meets Marion Rostina (Joan Lorring) and Julie Rostina (Dorothy Comingore), and Joseph Losey keeps the city close and uneasy around him.
