The Big Steal

Danny Clark (Ben Mendelsohn) is a Melbourne teenager who wants two things badly: a Jaguar and Joanna Johnson (Claudia Karvan). He gets a start on the first when he trades his Nissan Cedric for a 1973 Jaguar, and finds out too late that the car dealer, Gordon Farkes, has conned him. Nadia Tass directs the scramble that follows, with David Parker's script and camerawork keeping it moving.
