The Birds, the Bees and the Italians

(1966)Directed by Pietro Germi115 minComedy

Why does Osvaldo Bisigato (Gastone Moschin) let his wife believe he can no longer touch her, when he is spending his evenings with someone else? Pietro Germi follows that question through three stories set in the same town of Treviso, where a bank clerk walks out on his wife and a local girl draws the attention of nearly every man she meets. Through all of it, Milena Zulian (Virna Lisi) crosses the town's streets and shopfronts.
