The Black Panther

“What you are about to see is TRUE...it actually happened!”

Someone in 1970s Britain is robbing sub-post offices in a black hood, and the police cannot put a face to him. The man behind it is Donald Neilson (Donald Sumpter), an ex-soldier who leads a double life apart from his wife (Marjorie Yates) and daughter. Ian Merrick's first feature follows him toward the kidnapping of the teenage heiress Lesley Whittle (Debbie Farrington), and Sumpter stands in a plain family kitchen, the black hood folded out of sight.
