The Black Pharaoh, the Savage and the Princess
Three stories play out across Ancient Egypt, the French Middle Ages and 18th-century Turkey, each told by a different storyteller. In the first, the young Tanouékamani (Oscar Lesage) sets out to become the first black pharaoh worthy of the woman he loves. Michel Ocelot gives each tale its own palette, and the last one rests on a prince of pastries and a princess of roses slipping out of the palace together.
