The Black Stallion Returns

(1983)Directed by Robert Dalva103 min · PGFamily, Adventure
“They came by night to steal the magnificent stallion. Now, the boy will journey halfway around the world, brave any danger, take any risk. He had to save The Black.”

Black, the stallion known the world over, is gone, and nobody can say who took him. Alec Ramsay (Kelly Reno) follows the trail toward the one answer that matters, with Raj (Vincent Spano) alongside. Robert Dalva, in his only film as director, keeps the boy's attention fixed on the horse. What drives Alec across the distance is not a prize or a debt but a bond between a boy and an animal that he refuses to let go.
