The Black Tulip

A masked bandit known as the Black Tulip robs only rich aristocrats, and the peasants who never see a coin of it have made him a hero. Baron La Mouche (Adolfo Marsillach) is sure the Tulip is really the nobleman Guillaume de Saint Preux (Alain Delon), and a slash across the thief's face during one robbery gives him a mark to look for. Christian-Jaque sets the chase among the wealthy, and Delon waits in the candlelit rooms with a scar he has to hide.
