The Blackening

“We can't all die first.”

It's Juneteenth weekend, and a group of Black college friends drives out to a cabin in the woods for a reunion. Allison (Grace Byers), Lisa (Antoinette Robertson) and Clifton (Jermaine Fowler) are among the seven who arrive, and they find a masked killer waiting with a game he wants them to play. Tim Story directs, with Dewayne Perkins co-writing and playing a friend who knows every horror rule, and what keeps them together is the history these people share.
