The Blaze

The warning siren sounds over their home on the southern coast, and no one can say how close the fire has already come. Quentin Reynaud puts them in a crawling line of evacuees as the wind rises and ash drifts down like snow, and every slow stretch of road brings the flames nearer to a man who cannot outrun them.
