The Blob

“It crawls. It creeps. It eats you alive!”

In a small American town in 1958, teenagers Steve Andrews (Steve McQueen) and Jane Martin (Aneta Corsaut) are the first to find the gelatinous thing that engulfs whatever it touches. They watch it take an old man, then swell to a terrifying size. Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. makes the story about who gets believed: Lt. Dave (Earl Rowe) wants proof, and the kids have only what they saw.
