The Blob

“Terror has no shape.”

A gelatinous alien organism crashes into the woods outside Arborville, California, in a military satellite, and whatever it touches dissolves. Brian Flagg (Kevin Dillon) and Meg Penny (Shawnee Smith), two high school students, find it growing, while Sheriff Herb Geller (Jeffrey DeMunn) has no way to explain it. Chuck Russell, who wrote the script with Frank Darabont, keeps the town small, and everything the creature crawls over ends up acid-eaten and slick.
