The Blood of Wolves

Hiroshima, 1988, just before the anti-organized crime law takes effect, and a rumor follows Detective Shogo Ogami (Koji Yakusho) that he is in business with the yakuza. Kazuya Shiraishi pairs him with the younger Shuichi Hioka (Tori Matsuzaka) to find a missing employee of a financial company, while two rival gangs push closer to open conflict. Hioka rides the passenger seat beside Ogami, watching a man who lives by no rule he can name.
