Blood on Satan's Claw

“A chill-filled festival of horror!”

A farmer ploughing an English field in the early 18th century turns up a skull still covered in fur, and soon after, the village children start to change. Angel Blake (Linda Hayden) leads them into secret rituals and cruelty, while the Judge (Patrick Wymark) and Ralph Gower (Barry Andrews) try to make sense of it. Piers Haggard films the countryside in plain daylight and grain, so the horror sits among ordinary fields and cottages.
