The Bloodstained Butterfly

“A brutal murder cannot be solved. But the murderer has been recognized by someone...”

A young woman is stabbed to death in a park during a thunderstorm, and the witnesses all point to Alessandro Marchi (Giancarlo Sbragia), a television sports presenter seen running from the scene. Attorney Giulio Cordaro (Günther Stoll) builds the case against him, and Giorgio (Helmut Berger) is drawn into it as the evidence piles up. Duccio Tessari shoots the investigation in the rough, grainy look of early seventies Italian thrillers.
