“You Too, Will Be Aroused By Her Intoxicating Beauty! "This Woman Makes a Man of Dignity a Slave to Love!"”

Professor Immanuel Rath (Emil Jannings) walks into the Blue Angel cabaret to catch his students slipping out to see Lola Lola (Marlene Dietrich), whose photographs have been passed around the schoolroom. He stays to watch her perform, and by the end of the night he is thinking about her instead of them. Josef von Sternberg leaves Rath in his stiff schoolmaster's collar, and the club's smoke and Lola's song close around him.
