The Blue Bird

The fairy Berylune sends two peasant children, Mytyl (Tula Belle) and her brother Tyltyl (Robin Macdougall), out to find the Blue Bird of Happiness. A Dog, a Cat, Light, Fire and Bread go along as walking, talking companions. Maurice Tourneur adapts Maeterlinck's play, and the whole journey rests on the two siblings, who have only each other to hold onto.
