The Blue Lagoon

“A story of natural love.”

Emmeline (Brooke Shields) and Richard (Christopher Atkins) are small children when a shipwreck leaves them on a tropical island with Paddy Button (Leo McKern), the ship's cook. When Paddy dies, the two are on their own, and the days turn into years of building a home among the island's animals and plants. Randal Kleiser shoots the island in warm, bright light and lets the years pass without hurry.
