“A mountain legend from the Dolomites”

In a mountain village in the Dolomites, the women whisper that Junta (Leni Riefenstahl) is a witch. She alone can climb to the cave where a blue light glows on nights of the full moon, and the young men who follow her up the rock do not come back. Riefenstahl, who also directed, shot it in black and white, with the cave's pale glow shining out over the dark slope.
