The Blue Room

A death has put Julien Gahyde (Mathieu Amalric) in front of a judge (Laurent Poitrenaux), though it is not yet clear that any crime took place. Amalric, adapting Georges Simenon, goes back to the blue hotel room where Julien and Esther Despierre (Stéphanie Cléau), both married, meet and talk about a future they have no way of reaching. Whatever the investigators find, the two of them stay bound to each other by those afternoons.
