The Blues Brothers

(1980)Directed by John Landis133 min · RMusic, Comedy, Crime
They'll never get caught. They're on a mission from God.

'Joliet' Jake Blues (John Belushi) gets out of prison and reunites with his brother Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) with a mission to save the orphanage where they grew up. The brothers hit Chicago's South Side clubs, playing for legends like Ray Charles (Ray Charles) and Cab Calloway (Cab Calloway) while cops chase them across the city in a blur of wrecked cars and amplified chaos. By the end, Jake and Elwood have found what they were after.
