The Body Beneath

“Sexually Rampant Ghouls, Depraved Souls... and Blood-Red Roses!”

The Reverend Alexander Algernon Ford (Gavin Reed) leads a family of vampires into Carfax Abbey, where he has taken over the estate with his wife Susan (Jackie Skarvellis) and the servant Spool (Berwick Kaler). Their bloodline has thinned from inbreeding, and fresh blood is the only way to keep the family going. Andy Milligan shot it on a grainy 1970 budget, and the film closes on the family itself, all of them still gathered in the Abbey.
